A great view of the New York Skyline is a must see when visiting New York, so why not from the New York Harbor? Manhattan by Sail offers distinct sails during the morning, afternoon, and night on two beautiful ships; the Shearwater (an 80 year old classic schooner) and the Clipper City (158 foot topsail schooner). Sails depart from either South Street Seaport or the North Cove Marina and offer great views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Manhattan skyline. Both of these elegant ships offer amazing views of Manhattan with numerous snack and beverage offerings on board. Depending on the winds and tides, the captain may also sail the Buttermilk Channel or to the Verrazano Bridge. Manhattan By Sail offers 90-minute to two-hour public sails and can also be booked for private charters.
